Service overview

What IT Outsourcing covers

Abasyz takes on the day-to-day running of your IT — monitoring, service desk, patching, backup, security and cloud administration — under a written service level agreement with predictable monthly cost. You keep ownership of every system, account and piece of documentation.

The engagement scales to fit: a fully outsourced IT function for organisations with no internal team, or a co-managed arrangement where we cover out-of-hours, specialist domains or the routine operational load so your own people can work on things that matter more.

Problems it solves

The situations that bring clients to us

If any of these sound familiar, this service was designed for exactly that.

  • Unpredictable IT spending

Break-fix invoices arrive without warning and make it impossible to budget for technology with any confidence.

  • Key-person dependency

One person holds the knowledge and the credentials, and their leave or departure becomes a business risk.

  • No cover outside business hours

Failures overnight or at weekends are discovered by whoever logs in first on Monday morning.

  • Fear of being locked in

Previous providers held the documentation and the admin accounts, making any change of supplier painful and expensive.

Features and included services

What is included

Every item below is part of the standard scope, written into your agreement before work begins.

  • 24/7 monitoring and alerting

Agent-based monitoring across servers, endpoints, network devices and cloud services with thresholds tuned to your environment.

  • Service desk

Multi-channel support by phone, email and portal, with published response targets and full ticket history visible to you.

  • Patch and update management

Scheduled operating system and third-party patching with staged rollouts, testing and documented rollback plans.

  • Backup and disaster recovery

Automated backups against agreed recovery objectives, with scheduled restore tests that produce evidence.

  • Endpoint and identity security

Managed EDR, disk encryption, multi-factor authentication, conditional access and device compliance reporting.

  • Cloud and Microsoft 365 administration

Identity, licensing, mailbox, SharePoint and Teams administration, including joiner, mover and leaver workflows.

  • Co-managed and out-of-hours models

Cover only the shifts, domains or workload you choose, working alongside your internal team rather than replacing it.

  • Quarterly service reviews

Reporting on SLA performance, incident trends, risk, capacity and the lifecycle spend coming in the next periods.

    Operate

Run the service against the agreed levels, with proactive maintenance and transparent ticket reporting.

  5. 05

    Review and improve

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about it outsourcing. If yours is not here, ask us directly.

Do we have to outsource everything?

No. Co-managed arrangements are common — we might cover monitoring, out-of-hours and patching while your internal team keeps applications and user-facing support.

Who owns our systems and data?

You do, without qualification. Tenancies, domains, licences and administrative accounts are held in your organisation's name, and the documentation is yours.

What happens if we want to leave?

The contract includes a defined exit process: credentials, documentation, monitoring configuration and asset records are handed over in usable form within an agreed period.

How is it priced?

A flat monthly fee, usually per user or per device, based on the audited scope. Anything outside scope is quoted before it is carried out, never invoiced as a surprise.
