Technology decisions are expensive to reverse. Abasyz provides independent consultancy that assesses what you actually have, tests it against where the business is going, and gives you a written recommendation with the trade-offs made explicit.

Service overview

What IT Consultancy covers

Technology decisions are expensive to reverse. Abasyz provides independent consultancy that assesses what you actually have, tests it against where the business is going, and gives you a written recommendation with the trade-offs made explicit.

We are not a reseller and we do not earn margin on the products we recommend, so the advice is genuinely vendor-neutral. If your current platform is the right one, we will tell you that rather than manufacture a migration.

Consultants mapping a technology architecture on a glass wall

Problems it solves

The situations that bring clients to us

If any of these sound familiar, this service was designed for exactly that.

  • Spending without visibility

Cloud and licence costs climb every quarter and nobody can explain which workloads or contracts are driving the increase.

  • Architecture decided by accident

The estate is the sum of past urgent fixes rather than a deliberate design, and nobody holds the whole picture.

  • Conflicting vendor advice

Every supplier recommends the thing they sell, and you have no independent basis on which to choose.

  • No roadmap to plan against

Lifecycle, capacity and compliance deadlines arrive as surprises because nothing is mapped more than a quarter ahead.

Features and included services

What is included

Every item below is part of the standard scope, written into your agreement before work begins.

  • Infrastructure and estate assessment

A documented review of servers, networks, endpoints, identity, backup and licensing, with risks ranked by impact.

  • Cloud readiness and migration strategy

Workload-by-workload analysis of what should move, what should stay, and what the realistic cost and effort look like.

  • Technology roadmap

A phased twelve to thirty-six month plan tied to lifecycle dates, business milestones and a budget envelope.

  • Cost and licence optimisation

Identification of redundant subscriptions, oversized instances, unused capacity and renegotiable contract terms.

  • Security posture review

Assessment of access control, patching, backup integrity, endpoint protection and incident readiness against recognised baselines.

  • Architecture and solution design

Target-state designs with options compared on cost, risk, operability and exit difficulty — not just features.

  • Vendor selection support

Requirements definition, RFP preparation, structured scoring and commercial review through to contract award.

  • Business continuity planning

Recovery objectives agreed with the business, then tested against what the current environment can actually deliver.

Work process

How we deliver it

Each stage produces something you can review, so progress stays visible from the outside.

  1. 01

    Frame

Agree the question being answered, the scope of the review and what a useful deliverable looks like.

  2. 02

    Discover

Interview stakeholders, inspect systems, pull configuration and cost data, and document the current state.

  3. 03

    Analyse

Test the current state against business direction, risk appetite, compliance duties and cost targets.

  4. 04

    Recommend

Present options with costs, trade-offs and a preferred path, then work through the objections with you.

  5. 05

    Enable

Turn the accepted recommendation into a sequenced, costed plan your team or ours can execute.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about it consultancy. If yours is not here, ask us directly.

Will you try to sell us an implementation afterwards?

Our consultancy deliverables are written so any competent provider can execute them. You are free to take the plan elsewhere, and a number of clients do exactly that.

How long does an assessment take?

A focused review of a single domain typically runs two to three weeks. A full estate assessment for a mid-sized organisation is usually four to six weeks.

What do we actually receive?

A written report with the documented current state, ranked findings, options with costs, a recommended path and a sequenced plan — plus a working session to walk through it.

Can you review a proposal from another vendor?

Yes. Independent review of a supplier's design, scope and pricing before you sign is one of the most frequent requests we get.
